The Haw Creek valley is known as one of the most bear-visited neighborhoods in Asheville. Join HCCA at the library on Thursday, August 15 at 6:00 pm as we host a program on how to peacefully coexist with our neighbor bears, both at home and outdoors. This BearWise program will be presented by Ashley Hobbs, Special Projects Biologist with the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission. There will be educational items on display, along with some fun giveaways.
