In collaboration with Central East United Methodist Church and the Haw Creek Commons, the Haw Creek Community Association would like to invite you to the Haw Creek Heritage Festival, a celebration of our valley’s past and current community spirit, which we hope to make an annual tradition.
This family-friendly event will be taking place at the Haw Creek Commons and will feature live music from the following bands (time slots may shift as needed):
3:00-3:50 pm Haw Creek Sweet Hots,
4:00-5:35 pm Walker Family Band, and
5:45-7:00 pm Wayne Erbsen and the UNCA Bluegrass Band.
There will also be food trucks, a documentary featuring local storytellers, and lots of kids’ activities, including a bouncy house, face painting, and games.
The festival is free to all and will be happening rain or shine. Please park in the parking lot at Haw Creek Elementary School (10 Bethesda Road) and take the trail alongside the cemetery to get to the Commons. Even better, we'd love attendees to leave their cars at home and walk or bike to the festival. You’re welcome to bring your own blanket or chair if you choose. Come celebrate the spirit of Haw Creek!
