You are cordially invited to a potluck picnic on Sunday, September 28 at Groce United Methodist Church. This free event is co-hosted by Groce UMC, HCCA and Chances for Children to remember the bonds created in response to Helene and to celebrate our community.
Hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers and condiments will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share and your own beverage.
This is an outdoor event so please bring a chair (if it rains we'll move to Asbury Hall). First floor bathrooms will be accessible. You may also want to bring a musical instrument to join in the celebration. Groce and HCCA leaders will share thoughts and there will be a memory board for people to write notes.
We will not be keeping track of who is bringing what food, but please RSVP with the number of people you will be bringing so we will have some idea of how many disposable utensils, plates and napkins we will need to provide.
