HCCA invites you, your family, and your neighbors to join us on Saturday, November 7 at 10:30 am for a special celebration as we officially open our new sidewalk.
This exciting milestone represents years of planning, perseverance and community collaboration to make Haw Creek a safer, more walkable and connected neighborhood. Our news post, A Sidewalk Years in the Making, includes the history of this project.
We'll kick off the commemoration with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on the sidewalk at Charlie Bullman Park, followed by a community parade along our new sidewalk to Creekside Taphouse.
Once we arrive at Creekside, the celebration will continue with light bites courtesy of Creekside Taphouse and HCCA, along with $1 off beer!
Bring the kids, decorate your bikes and strollers, and don't forget your four-legged friends – leashed dogs are welcome to join the fun.
This is more than just a sidewalk. It's another step forward in making Haw Creek an even better place to live, walk, and connect with neighbors.
